Its very necessary for a website to be registered for google search since most of the audience find an answer to their query from search engines like google.
Here are the steps for registering for google search:-
1-Go Here.Its called webmaster tool and is made by google to check site health,site verification .
2-Sign in with your gmail account.
3-You will see a dashboard like this .
4.Click on add a site .Enter your site url.
5-Now a new page appear will appear like the one shown below .
6-The recommended method is the best one .Download the HTML file and open it with notepad .
7-Copy the materials in it and paste them in your blog as a post or page but since you don't want the content to appear publicly and is for verification by google so don't publish and save it as drafts .Never delete the HTML file from your blog.
Now your site is registered for google search but it doesn't mean that it will be shown in google search results automatically .For that you have to increase your page rank.
